Bogen s UTI1 is a single-zone telephone interface that is compatible with all standard analog port types. A background music (BGM) input with variable muting coordinates music and page announcements. An additional audio output provides a page only function (no BGM) for application flexibility. A built-in 24V DC, 1A power supply is provided for powering amplified speakers. Paging volume controls are provided for each of the outputs. Contact-triggered tones and night ring signals, as well as programmable AUX relay contacts, are all programmed using DTMF tones through the dual-purpose override input. *NOTE* The TAMB2/PS is now EOS. The UTI1 is a great substitute for 95% of use cases. See the documentation section below for a full feature comparison guide.

The Model SPT15A has a built-in, rotary impedance selector switch for matching the speaker power requirements to a 25V or 70V constant-voltage line. The model SP158A has an 8-ohm impedance only.

The MB8TSQ speakers are suitable for ceiling or wall mounting. The MB8TSL speakers are designed primarily for wall mounting, with front face angled downward by 12.5 degrees. Models with "VR" suffix have a recessed volume control at the center of the grille.

The Bogen TPU Series Mixer-Amplifiers are unique, wall- or rack-mounted amplifiers, specifically designed for telephone paging applications. These compact units provide voice-activated muting of music when paging, completely eliminating the need for manual activation of switches and the use of external relays. The page channel features automatic output leveling (ALC) as channel input varies, which is particularly important in telephone paging applications, where persons with varying voice levels and paging techniques have access to the system. Installation and maintenance are simple; all connections, adjustments, and mounting are accomplished with a screwdriver.

The AT10A attenuator allows the output level of a network of 25V or 70V speakers to be controlled from a wall-mounted volume control, without affecting overall amplifier volume settings. Volume reduction takes place in 3 dB increments except for the two lowest settings, which provide 6 dB reduction increments. The attenuator provides a choice of 10 stops and an off position, and is capable of controlling up to 10-watt speaker systems. The attenuator measures 2-3/4" W x 4-1/2" H x 2-3/4" D and weighs 13 oz.

The OPS1 features MLS and MDT technologies (see below), which improve sound quality and increase operating reliability. The low-distortion speaker design, featuring a spider-less driver and one-piece metal-alloy cone structure, delivers superb articulation and the highest intelligibility for both music and speech. The speakers consists of one 6-1/2" (nominal) low frequency transducer, and one 20mm (3/4") (nominal) high frequency transducer with a filter network for dividing frequencies between the transducers.
